RV's Literary Club
Our Aim and Vision
The Literary Club at Ramana Vidyalaya aims to inculcate and develop the creative, communicative and functionally-relevant literary skills in all its student members.
The Literary Club members from across different grades collaborate with a broad vision to create newsletters that are conceived, compiled, edited and designed by them using the latest software. Every newsletter consolidates eventful updates from all quarters balanced with rich creative contributions from each of our stakeholders (parents, staff and students).

Since its inception in 2018, the Literary Club has evolved to produce colourful and engaging newsletters for the RV family, exploring multiple avenues, styles, themes and software. Take a look at our journey!
WHAT'S IN STORE FOR A LITERARY CLUB MEMBER?
This is an enriching space for every member to grow individually and learn to collaborate as a team towards realising the common vision and goals of the club. The members get the best opportunities to tap their literary facets, grooming them with the right ingredients necessary to explore many forms of print media etiquettes in the near future.

TECH TEAM OF RV
With the growing and extensive use of the digital resources for most of our school-related activities and events, having a dedicated technical team for the school seemed like an apt addition to the list of student-driven clubs. Hence, the Tech Team of RV was established.
PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The objective of the Tech Team is to inculcate and hone the technical, creative, contemporary digital knowledge and skills of its members. The members are from Grades X-XII and work with Staff and students for extending overall technical support in all the events, programs and activities that happen across the school for all the grades. This is what the support looks like:

creation of event-related posters,

creating Zoom/Google Meet links for the event,

collation of event-related videos,

setting up of projectors and/or presentations in case of events happening physically

printing of required posters, sheets and other documents for the events
JOURNEY SO FAR
The Tech Team has worked on various school-wide events and celebrations with different stakeholders and created wonderful invites, presentations and other digital resources since its inception in 2021. Here is a snapshot of the work done by them.
It was a tremendous experience to be a part of the Tech Team since its inception! Creating posters, adding colors to the event, designing invites, adding elements of joy and spectrum of smiles, the Tech Team thoroughly enjoyed, learnt, and had fun while pulling off all this over the years! But, Spectra 2022-23 marks one of our most favorite projects, ever, and we say this on behalf of the entire team!

From preparing invitations to designing backdrops for the stage - this was the first time a student team was given such a big opportunity to explore and exhibit their creativity and skills! Since the time I joined the club in 2021, I have learnt that there are many ways of exploring design in and our school is giving us a platform to immerse ourselves in such skill development early on in our lives. This is the most exciting thing I have done till now.
